My Name is Durwood L. Keller and I was born and raised in
Lafayette, Louisiana. I have been a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana since 1984. Thank

I am a self-employed Business Consultant and the Managing
Partner of Keller Consulting, LLC located in Baton Rouge,
Louisiana. I have 15 plus years experience working in the business environment. My
background includes computer sales and management, owner of a retail store, and secretary
- treasurer of a cellular phone company. I have also worked in various areas of
real-estate management and investing.
I am a 1982 graduate of The University of Southwestern
Louisiana in Lafayette Louisiana which is now named
ULL, University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I have a BSBA Degree in Business Management. I was
involved in several business organizations while in college and a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity..
Following college I worked for
Tandy Corporation (Radio Shack) for three years
in computer sales and management. I worked in several locations from Lake Charles
to Lafayette and Baton Rouge, Louisiana as a computer store manager. In 1984 I was awarded the Winged
Victory Award for top sales in my region. In 1985 I resigned from Tandy to
start my own business.
From 1985 to 1991 my wife Janie and I owned and operated a
retail store, a card and gift shop, The Paper Tiger. It was located on Highland Road in
Baton Rouge, LA. In 1995 I worked with several local investors to establish a new local
cellular phone communications company. The company merged with a larger company about a
year after it was formed.
I have been working as a consultant on a part time basis for
the last ten years. I have been involved in other businesses as an investor. I decided to
devote my full time efforts to consulting and business counseling in 1992 and opened my
own firm in May of 1996.

Boy Scouts:
I served as Cub Scout Den Leader
for my Son. He was a member of Pack 34, and earned his Webelos Badge and
was in the Shark Patrol. We have attended several campouts with the Pack
while in Cub Scouts. In the Spring of 2000 he advanced into the Boy Scouts
and is now a member of Troop 103 sponsored by St. Jude Church. We are in
the Istrouma Area Council in Baton Rouge, LA. He is currently working on
his First Class rank and hopes to earn his Eagle rank in the next 2 years.
I have been involved in the scouting for many years. I
joined my first troop in 1969 earned my Eagle Rank in 1974 as a member of Troop 19 in
Lafayette, Louisiana. During my time in the Scouts I had the opportunity to attend
numerous Camporees,, Summer Camps at Thistlethwaite Scout Camp, a Troop
trip and summer camp in California, and countless overnight
camping trips with my troop. I also had the opportunity to attend the National
Scout
Leadership training at Philmont Scout Camp in New Mexico.
Fraternal Organizations:
Member of LA Beta Chapter of Phi
Kappa Psi Fraternity at USL in
Lafayette. Currently active in LA Beta Alumni Association and have also worked with LA
Alpha Chapter at LSU in Baton Rouge and LA Gamma Chapter at Loyola University in New
Orleans, Louisiana. To date I have attended 8 biannual Grand Arch Councils and
and was

Cypress Point Homeowners, Served 3 years as treasurer of the Woodstone Association.
Also serve as treasurer of the Hidden Oak Lane Homeowners Association. Also currently

Hidden Oak Association
