The above 1992 Chevrolet Caprice was struck broadside when it turned in front of the white Ford F-250 Pickup. The speed limit on the road the truck was traveling was 45 MPH. Reports are that the truck was not speeding at the time of the accident. The Caprice was driven by a 77 year old woman. The driver's husband age 80, was sitting in the passenger side seat and was killed instantly on impact. The driver also died as a result of her injuries.
A second and separate accident immediately following this one also resulted in the death of a 19 year old female.
